KENMURE RAMBLERS : September to December 2017
All walks leave from Kenmure Church car park prompt at 9.20am prompt for a 9.30am start.
None of our walks demand serious hiking gear but we would always recommend boots or walking shoes - probably not trainers and definitely not high heels!!.
As usual we will operate a car sharing 'service'; if you are not in your own car we suggest 'petrol money' for the driver of £3 per head, £4 if the walk is a bit further away)
September 9th - Loch Achray Bridge Walk - 5 km
September 23rd - Muirshiel Country Park - 4 km
October 7th - Dalzell Estate, nea Motherwell - 5 km
October 21st - Whitelees Wind Farm, East Renfrewshire - 6 km
November 4th - Plean Country Park, near Stirling - 4 km
November 18th - Carron Dam Trail from Todholes car park - 5 km
December 2nd - Croy Quarries and Mines - 5 km
As most of our walks now tend to be shorter (around 4-6 km) you may not feel the need to carry a full packed lunch.
The aim of our walks is to enjoy our counrtyside, take a little gentle exercise and enjoy fellowship with other.
We take a light snack with us and at the end enjoy coffee and cake at a local venue.
If you want any more information about any of the walks, or the Ramblers in general, please contact Robert Forbes.
